The Nature of museum showcase lighting is exhibition lighting in a small space. Compared with exterior lighting of showcases, interior lighting is more difficult to do for the following reasons:
1. The space is smaller, which requires the lamps to be compacted in size;
2. Various lighting method,such as accent lighting, wall washing, and light cutting need to be completed in a small space, we must also consider the control of overflow and stray light
3. The lighting inside of the cabinet, especially the independent cabinet, has many viewing surfaces, and the four viewing surfaces have no dead corners for light control, which puts forward more stringent requirements for light glare and overflow.

Therefore, there are more and more complicated factors to consider in showcase lighting, and it is not easy to do it well.

To show more the details of a large artwork, While the mini spotlight or tracklight position is relatively close, the beam angle or projection angle of the mini shelf lights need to be adjusted. Narrow angles or ultra-narrow angles should be used with caution. Because the mini spotlight position is close, light from this angle will be concentrated on the exhibits, very easy to expose. Use flood and medium angles will be good choices, If there is insufficient lighting flux, use more spot cabinet lights to overlap.
